The Leo Bancroft salon in Weybridge has recently introduced a bespoke anti-age service to transform ageing hair. Here, stylist Kate Taylor reveals how they achieve younger looking tresses...

1. “When we are young, our hair is typically thick and shiny. As we age though, it becomes more dry and brittle, and can also lose pigment and become thinner – all of which makes it appear less lustrous and more limp. The good news? All can be easily managed by investing in cutting-edge colour, care and cutting techniques.”

2. “Here at Leo Bancroft, our own bespoke service includes regular diagnostic consultations with advice on cut, colour and day-to-day care for long-lasting results. We also address issues such as thinning hair and any scalp problems.”

3. “Furthermore, we work with products that are specifically formulated to work with ageing hair, including Kerastase Densifique, a range formulated to add texture and body, and to activate hair density.”

4. “Also, our senior stylists are Redken NYC colour experts with in-depth knowledge of colour formulations that have been specifically developed to ‘feed’ and plump the hair shaft and ‘breathe life’ into dull and weakened hair.”

5. “Finally, when it comes to cutting hair, we don’t follow formulas: instead, we champion a tailored approach for a result that enhances each client’s self-confidence as well as the quality of their hair.”
