Two of Surreys Strictly Come Dancing stars, Vincent Simone and Flavia Cacace, will fight it out to become king or queen of the dance floor this weekend.
The pair, both from Guildford, have appeared on the show since 2006 but this is the first year that the professional dance partners will appear in the final against each other.
Paired withactress Dani Harmer and Olympian Louis Smith respectively, Vincent and Flavia are set to take on TV presenter Denise Van Outen and James Jordon and Kimberley Walsh and Pasha Kovalev on Saturday December 22.
Whatever the result, the Surrey dancing stars will be reunited in Midnight Tango, a show they star in and have choreographed, at New Victoria Theatre, Woking from Monday March 25 to Saturday March 30.
I loved Vincent and Flavia from the first moment I saw them dance together when I was judging Strictly Dance Fever and they were the star guests, says show co-producer, Arlene Phillips.
Im not surprised to see them go head to head in the final and lets hope, for the first time ever, this will be a Strictly draw. Midnight Tango has been acclaimed throughout the UK and with a possibility of a Strictly glitter ball can only add to the excitement already generated by the show.
Midnight Tango is directed by Olivier Award-winning choreographer Karen Bruce, who has choreographed for both Strictly Come Dancing and So You Think You Can Dance on BBC One.
