Olympic bronze medallist Crista Cullen inspires next generation at Leatherhead Hockey Club

Olympic bronze medallist, Crista Cullen, who plays in defence for England and Team GB, visited Leatherhead Hockey Club for their open day

Olympic bronze medallist, Crista Cullen, who plays in defence for England and Team GB, visited Leatherhead Hockey Club for their open day on Saturday September 1, 2012.


Part of Hockey Nation Harvester National Club Weekend, the event contributed to a post-Olympic drive to create a legacy for London 2012, encouraging people to take up or return to playing hockey.


The Team GB star spent two hours at the club, providing coaching and giving some insight into her Olympic experiences as well as, patiently responding to requests to see her medal.
