While filming scenes at Dunsfold Park for his latest movie, 360, Hollywood actor Sir Anthony Hopkins took a moment out to praise the efforts of the life-saving crew of Surrey Air Ambulance, who are based there.

The Academy Award winner broke off from filming to meet the specialist doctors and critical care paramedics who fly on the helicopter, saying that they all deserved Oscars.


During his visit to the aerodrome, near Cranleigh, he posed for photographs and signed autographs, including Surrey Air Ambulance postcards which will be auctioned off at the charitys Air Aid Ball.


360, whichco-stars Jude Law and Rachel Weisz, is also being filmed in London, Paris, Vienna and Brazil, and is a multi-stranded tale of love and obsession.




The Surrey Air Ambulance Open Day will take place at Dunsfold Park, near Cranleigh, on Sunday June 12, from 11am. Entry is free.
