Olympic gold medallist Joanna Rowsell, who lives in Cheam, helped start a sponsored five mile walk in the village.
The cycling star joined the Mayor of Sutton, Cllr Sean Brennan, to set walkers on their way for the Ladies Only Midnight Memories Walk.
We would like to give special thanks to Joanna and her dad and the Mayor of Sutton, who all joined us to start off this fundraising event, says organiser Suzi Forland.
We want to thank all the walkers and the volunteers who helped out on the night. We were very lucky with the weather. Everyone was very creative with their yellow themed costumes!
The walk, which is expected to have raised 25,000 for St Raphaels Hospice, started and finished at the St Bedes Centre in London Road, Cheam.
