More than 1,300 people turned out to run the Loseley 10k and 4k run on Sunday, making it the busiest the event has ever been.

Held in the beautiful and historic setting of Loseley Park, runners had perfect autumnal weather with no rain in sight there was no chance of cheating either, as this was the first year that runners were chip timed.

The turn out this year was fantastic and everyone came along with so much enthusiasm for the cause and for the course, says CHASE events manager, Diana de Moura Stewart. Thank you so much to everyone who participated.

The field saw a real mix of participants, from experienced competitors in the Loseley 10K to family joggers in the 4K run, and the event, now in its fifth year, hopes to raise 70,000 to help CHASE support life-limited children and their families in Surrey.
