A scintillating Bollywood film and curry night is to be held at The Richard Onslow in Cranleigh to raise vital funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
On Sunday January 26, a three-course curry supper will be followed by the showing of Taare Zameen Par (Like Stars on Earth), a heart-warming story about a young boy who faces the challenges brought about by his dyslexia.
“We’re really looking forward to having a fun time,” says Cranleigh resident, event organiser and founder of leading Bollywood dance-fitness programme Just Jhoom!, Shalini Bhalla.
“Everyone knows someone who’s affected by breast cancer so it’s vital that we continue to support Breakthrough Breast Cancer’s life-saving research.”
Breast cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the UK, with almost 50,000 women and around 400 men diagnosed every year.
Breakthrough Breast Cancer is dedicated to finding new treatments, discovering the causes, promoting early detection and ensuring the best possible care for people affected by the disease.
• Tickets cost £27.50 and can be purchased by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 01483 271059. Each ticket also gives you a chance to win a free night’s stay for two at The Richard Onslow.
