On Wednesday June 2, there is the opportunity to visit Monksbridge, the former home of Pink Floyd band member David Gilmour, in Sunbury-on-Thames.

Music fans should note that the wall surrounding the gardens tennis court apparently played a significant part in the album cover of The Wall.

Monksbridge will be opened, between 1pm and 5pm, by long-term Princess Alice Hospice supporter Della Pascoe for champagne lunches, afternoon teas, jazz on the lawn and some high quality shopping, all combining to create a quintessentially English event.
