RDO Kitchens & Appliances in Reigate officially launched its brand new state of the art showroom on Saturday 25 October.

Crowds gathered for the unveiling of the new Bancroft Road store and were greeted with a celebratory glass of bubbly as they perused the new look showroom. Customers were treated to a variety of cooking demonstrations throughout the day from brands such as Miele, Neff and AEG.

The new look store designed by Ken Sargant (RIBA retired at 88 years young!) features a brand new Kitchen Design Studio headed up by April Sargant (Senior designer) offering the stylish Stoneham kitchen range and an appliance showroom over two floors displaying the most prestigious brands including Gaggenau, Siemens, Bosch, Neff, Miele, AEG and many more.

To celebrate the official opening, RDO Kitchens & Appliances also launched a competition which will see one lucky customer win a Christmas like no other. The winner will receive a £500 Fortnum & Mason Christmas Hamper, a case of Champagne, a delicious hand reared turkey and a Nordic spruce Christmas tree complete with lights, and much more.

Roger Sargant, owner of RDO Kitchens & Appliances, commented:

“We are overwhelmed at the response we received at our launch events. Our customers appeared genuinely thrilled and from the moment we opened our doors there were streams of people with beaming faces throughout the store. Those that knew the old store couldn’t believe the transformation and everyone seemed very impressed by how sleek and modern the showroom now is. We pride ourselves on our great service and customer care and that will remain at the core of the business as we move forward with our fabulous new store.

I am very proud of all my staff who have kept the faith and worked so hard throughout the 5 month build programme, and especially proud of my daughter, April, for her hard work and wonderful design of the Kitchen Studio. Last but by no means least; I have to thank my Dad, for his unfailing enthusiasm and support for the business along with the iconic architectural design of the store.

There have been so many wonderful people involved in this project, from the local Council to all our suppliers, customers and Technical Procurement - the contractor. I very sincerely thank them all.”
