Morrisons Solicitors LLP has recently taken delivery of new video conferencing cameras thanks in part to Sustainable Routes.

The successful firm of solicitors was founded nearly 300 years ago in Reigate and has since grown into a five-site operation with offices in Redhill, Woking, Wimbledon, Camberley and Teddington. For some key members of staff, travelling between the offices was becoming frequent, time consuming and detrimental to the firm’s green credentials.

Morrisons Head of IT, Alison McKenna explained, “We were looking at a way to cut travel between the offices and decided that video conferencing offered the best solution for both members of staff and clients. Although our IT infrastructure is strong throughout the firm, we needed good quality cameras at each of the five offices to make this work properly and that’s when we turned to Sustainable Routes.”

“The scheme allowed us to order all of the equipment we needed and supplied us with a £1,000 grant towards the cost. It was simple and easy to arrange and now means that we can reduce our carbon footprint in terms of travel whilst working more productively.”

Sustainable Routes offers a grant of £1,000 to help SMEs in the South East cut travel. The process was quick and simple and this week Alison took delivery of the new cameras and is already setting up the new video conferencing facilities.
