The businesses of Camberley Town Centre were braced with excitement as they eagerly awaited the results of the 2015 Town Centre Business Awards. Over 100 businesses gathered at the evening event at Camberley Heath Golf Club to celebrate the successes of 2015.

Hosting the awards evening for the second year and joined by Mayor of Surrey Heath, Cllr Joanne Potter, Collectively Camberley saw record numbers of entries into the public choice awards; with over 1000 members of the public voting for their Best Independent Business and Best Customer Service Experience. Over 70 of the towns businesses took part in a Mystery Shopping project and a further 21 entries were received into the panel awards. This year, businesses had a chance to enter the following; Highest Rated for Mystery Shopping 2015, Professional Service of the Year 2015, Love Camberley Employer of the Year 2015, Best Independent Business 2015 (Consumer Choice), Best Customer Service Experience 2015 (Consumer Choice) and Business of the Year 2015.

The judging panel included Karen Whelan (Chief Executive of Surrey Heath Borough Council), Louise Punter (Chief Executive of Surrey Chambers of Commerce), Jeff Caplan (Managing Director for Storecheckers Ltd) and Fiona Knowlton (Managing Director for TheGuide2Camberely) coordinated by BID Chairman Lorna Dane.

• Best Customer Service Experience 2015 (Consumer Choice) - The Sweet Shop, Princess Way

• Business of the Year 2015 - The Mall, Camberley
