Jonathan Graham-Brown, 70, will journey from Yvonne Arnauds grave at St Martha's Chapel, Guildford, to her birthplace 500 miles away in the French city of Bordeaux.
The former England cricketer is patron of the Guildford Bordeaux Walk and has offered his advice ahead of the start on the morning of Tuesday October 11.
Jonathans walk, which has already raised nearly 4,000, is anticipated to last four weeks and marks the centenary of French actress Arnauds first appearance on the English stage.
