Turner Prize winner Grayson Perry opens collage exhibition at The Lightbox

Last night, leading artist and winner of the 2003 Turner Prize, Grayson Perry, officially opened the Art's Council Collection's touring exhibition Transmitter/Receiver: The Persistence of Collage at The Lightbox gallery and museum, Woking.

Lastnight,leadingartistandwinnerofthe2003TurnerPrize,GraysonPerry,officiallyopened the Arts Council Collections touring exhibition Transmitter/Receiver: The Persistence of Collage at The Lightboxgalleryandmuseum,Woking.


TheLightboxistheonlyvenueinthe south easttohostthe exhibition which explores the use of collage in British art through pieces from the Arts Council Collection.


Transmitter/Receiverincludesworks from renowned artists BenNicholson, EduardoPaolozzi, RichardHamilton, PatrickCaulfield, ChrisOfili and GraysonPerry.


TheofficialopeningwasalsoattendedbyagroupofYoungCurators from WokingCollege and other schools in the local area.
