The career of rock and pop legend Paul Weller is being celebrated all summer in his hometown of Woking at a newly launched photographic exhibition.

These striking portraits, on display at The Lightbox until Sunday September 25, are by his favourite photographer, Lawrence Watson, and cover his entire solo career to date, including some that have never before been seen in public.

Born and brought up in Woking, the town has provided an influence throughout his career; not only was it the birthplace of his band, The Jam, but his third solo album, Stanley Road, was named after the street where he grew up in Woking.
