A new film installation by internationally-acclaimed artist Suki Chan has just opened at The Lightbox.

The Ingram Collection: Still Point, on show at the gallery and museum in Woking from until Sunday November 4, explores sacred spaces and places of pilgrimage that have so often become battlegrounds.

Exploring the worlds most sacred sites Still Point by Suki Chan is a 35 minute film that examines how cultural and religious identities have changed over time and how allegiances have shifted.

The film transports the viewer from the site of the humble wooden structures offering refuge along Pilgrims Way, Northumberland, to contested sacred sites in Jerusalem and abandoned concrete houses in old Syrian villages, in the Golan Heights.
