Sir Richard Stilgoe brings charitable cabaret to Farnham Castle for Surrey Care Trust's 30th

A glamorous fundraising event held at Farnham Castle raised over £7,000 for the Surrey Care Trust on the charity's 30th birthday.
A glamorous fundraising event was held at Farnham Castle raised over 7,000 for the Surrey Care Trust on the charitys 30th birthday.
Acclaimed songwriter and musician Sir Richard Stilgoe, who is also a patron, hosted a spectacular evening of musical entertainment and presented rising stars, the GSA Singers.
After a three-course dinner, guests offered generous donations towards a charity raffle and auction which was presided over with wit and charisma by Sir Richard Stilgoe.
The Trust was able to offer some superb kindly donated prizes including a hot air balloon experience, spa treatments, a flight over London and a tour of the capitals Victorian sewer system.
Among the over 100 guests at the historic venue were the president of Surrey Care Trust and owner of Denbies Wine Estate, Adrian White, and patron of the charity and Lord Lieutenant of Surrey, Dame Sarah Goad, as well as trustees, supporters and friends of the Surrey Care Trust.
