Warlingham Heritage Showcase ~ historic buildings and local archaeology to family trees

The local history of East Surrey, from historic buildings and local archaeology to family trees, will be explored at a special Warlingham Heritage Showcase hosted by Surrey Heritage.
The local history of East Surrey, from historic buildings and local archaeology to family trees, will be explored at a special free Warlingham Heritage Showcase hosted by Surrey Heritage.
An afternoon of talks, exhibitions and ask the experts sessions will offer the opportunity to learn more about the past in Warlingham and surrounding areas.
Talks include Warlinghams historic buildings in a Surrey context, Who do you think they were? and Excavating Surrey's Past, while displays will cover Warlingham Gems, North Park Farms excavation and Royal Surrey.
There will be a variety of drop-in sessions, including how to date your own photos, an introduction to www.exploringsurreyspast.org.uk and how to identify your archaeological discoveries.
Local and county groups, including Caterham and District Local History Centre, East Surrey Family History Society, Surrey Archaeological Society, The Bourne Society and Woldingham History Society, will also be present.
- The Warlingham Heritage Showcase takes place at Warlingham Church Hall, 399 Limpsfield Road, Warlingham, Surrey CR6 9HA on Sunday October 21, 2pm to 5pm Sunday October 21.
