Since 1997, The Chakravarty Cup has become an important event on the polo calendar – Prince Charles played for the first nine years until his retirement – and this year preceded an evening concert featuring the Faces.
Also among those enjoying the beautiful weather was the TV presenter Fearne Cotton, who attended in support of her boyfriend Jesse Wood, guitarist in the Faces and son of Ronnie Wood.
The event, Polo Rocks, also included a poignant tribute to the late Amy Winehouse with the band dedicating I’d rather go blind to the singer who was a good friend of Ronnie’s.
