Joining the usual plethora of historic vehicles, will be jive dancing and Lindy Hop demonstrations and, for those who feel like adding a touch of Home Front glamour to their day, a pop-up beauty parlour for some quick hair and make-up sessions.

Brooklands was an important centre of aircraft production during World War Two and the original Clubhouse and other period features offer outstanding surroundings for this event, which will include period vehicles, re-enactment groups and a VE Day street party.

To encourage visitors to enter into the spirit of the era, Brooklands are offering a 2 discount on their usual admission prices to adults wearing 1940s-style clothing and prizes will be given to the best-dressed man, lady and child.
