Radio 2 broadcaster Canon Roger Royle was the evenings engaging host, sharing stories that delighted the audience; which included newly elected Conservative MP for East Surrey Sam Gyimah on one of his first engagements since winning the election.
A variety of acts took to the stage, including Cambridge Universitys Gentlemen of St Johns; local stars Kenley Holiday Workshop; gold-medal winning womens barbershop chorus, Surrey Harmony; and a heart warming performance from soloists from the Orpheus Centre.
In addition to all the ticket proceeds providing funds for the much-valued local hospice, the evenings prize raffle brought in an additional 1,000.
