Sir David Attenborough visited the award-winning gallery and museum, The Lightbox, to give supporters and volunteers an insight into his 'life in the undergrowth'.

The talk was themed to coincide with the Garden Giants exhibition, held in the main gallery, and focused on the naturalist's fascination with insects and his discoveries while filming the BBC TV series Life in The Undergrowth and writing his book.

Prior to the talk, Sir David and his daughter Susan toured the exhibition with The Lightbox's director, Marilyn Scott.

"We are so honoured to have had Sir David, a lecturer of such high quality and profile at The Lightbox," said Marilyn.
