Hollywood A-lister Samuel L Jackson hosted this years Shooting Stars Benefit at the world-famous Wentworth Club, Virginia Water, on Thursday August 4 and Friday August 5.

The Pulp Fiction star, who is also a keen golfer, enlisted a number of his celebrity friends including Jesse Metcalfe, James Anderson and Michael Bolton to play in the two-day competition that raised money for Make-A-Wish Foundation UK.

Make-A-Wish Foundation UK celebrates its 25th anniversary this year; therefore I am particularly pleased to confirm that proceeds from the tournament will help grant the wishes of children who are fighting a life-limiting condition, said Samuel L Jackson.

The tournament concluded with the Shooting Stars Benefit Closing Ball at the Royal Courts of Justice, which featured an auction of donated prizes to raise further funds for Make-A-Wish UK.
