There’s a touch of old-fashioned Hollywood glamour about Surrey’s latest cocktail bar addition, Little Nan’s Cocktail Club, which can be found at Lingfield Park racecourse.
“Artist and designer Matt Sargent came up with the concept of the bar with me,” says owner Tristan Scutt.
“Matt has worked on films such as Les Misérables, Robin Hood, The Muppets and Snow White & the Huntsman, so his skills of design really flourish in this environment.”
Having started in South London last year, this is a bar that specialises in spoiling guests with bespoke cocktails and bottles of bubbles – all served from the finest bone china teapots and crystal cut decanters of Tristan’s late Nan.
Launched at Lingfield in September, the venue is open on race days throughout the winter, as well as other days and evenings for private hire.
“We can also come to your own home, wedding, birthday or venue to give you a very personalised experience, where we create a bespoke cocktail menu,” adds Tristan. “Matt can even design your very own Cocktail Club in your own home!”
