Pumpkin patches in Surrey: Where to pick your own pumpkins

When pumpkin pies start getting baked and carved pumpkins shine from all the windows, it’s a sign that autumn and Halloween has arrived. We’ve got some of the best places in Surrey to pick your own
New Haw Rd, Weybridge, Addlestone KT15 2BU
For set days in October, Crockford Bridge Farm will be open for visitors to pick their own pumpkins. Visit on the weekend of 3rd and 4th or 9th, 10th and 11th October to explore the farm and pick your favourite pumpkin for baking, decorating or carving. Visits must be booked ahead of time.
Alternatively, there will be pre-picked pumpkins to buy throughout October or book tickets for the 2020 Pumpkin Festival (17th and 18th and 23rd to 31st October) for the perfect Halloween-time day out. Browse squashes and pumpkins for sale, stop at the pumpkin carving station, take snaps at the photo booths, enjoy food stalls and much more. Hurst Farm, Chapel Lane, Milford GU8 8HU
There will be a ticketed Pumpkin Week event again at Secretts Farm this year which will be slightly different due to government regulations. However, visitors can expect to choose from hundreds of big orange pumpkins and some tasty food and drink from the stall for the week.

Winterdown Road, Esher KT10 8LS
The farm shop and garden centre, Garsons, is also a popular place for visitors to pick fruit, vegetables and even flowers all year round. During October, pumpkins are available for picking for your Halloween display.
Book your farm pass online before visiting, then your produce will get weighed at the end and the price of the farm pass will be deducted from the price of your pumpkins (and other fruits and veg). For full details, visit the website.
Crawley Down, Crawley RH10 4PE
Explore over 20 acres of pumpkin fields just over the border at Tulleys Pumpkin Patch which opens from 26th September. Visit in the day, perfect for kids, or try a night time pumpkin patch visit. Pick your pumpkin by the light of the moon before enjoying some food and drinks in the courtyard area.

Sandy Lane, South Nutfield, Redhill RH1 4EJ
There will be lots of Halloween fun happening at Nutfield’s Priory Farm throughout October this year. Help the Priory Farm Police solve the case of the missing pumpkin along the Halloween trail (10th October to 1st November), take a tractor ride to the pumpkin field and pick your armfuls of pumpkins or visit the farm shop and gaze at the beautiful pumpkin displays.
