Noel Coward's The Vortex at Kingston's Rose Theatre

Following the success of his production of Hay Fever, the Rose Theatre's artistic director Stephen Unwin returns to NoÃ«l Coward with a new revival of The Vortex from Thursday February 7 to Saturday March 2.
Following the success of his production of Hay Fever, the Rose Theatres artistic director Stephen Unwin returns to Nol Coward with a new revival of The Vortex from Thursday February 7 to Saturday March 2.
The Vortex was a huge success when it premiered in London in 1924, featuring the relationship between the decadent addict Nicky Lancaster and his flamboyant and faded mother, Florence, still packs an extraordinary punch today.
Kerry Fox (Danny Boyles Shallow Grave), David Dawson (Henry IV, parts 1 and 2, Dancing on the Edge, Parades End, The Mystery of Edwin Drood and Luther) and James Dreyfus (Mount Pleasant, Shameless, Midsomer Murders, Whitechapel, Double Time and He Kills Coppers) will be taking the lead roles.
