Evoking the spirit of Brooklands and the style of Concorde, Brooklands Museum is once again offering their exclusive New Years Eve Concorde gala dinner this year.
Featuring Midnight on Concorde and attended by British Airways pilot, Capt Harry Linfield, the evening begins with a welcome Champagne reception in the Members Bar of Brooklands Edwardian Clubhouse followed, in the Blue Bird Room, by a six-course dinner.
Created by Brooklands executive chef exclusively for the night, the menu, which will be accompanied by fine Bordeaux wines, has a Concorde theme and will be similar to that enjoyed by all who have attended in the past.
This will be a leisurely, unhurried affair affording time for conversation, relaxation, and dancing between courses.
The evening will then continue with something that only very few in the world have ever experienced, midnight on Concorde on New Years Eve.
There will be Champagne on board, and Auld Lang Syne, followed by a supersonic firework display to herald the New Year!
Entertainment and music for dancing will be provided by Heather Simmons and the Hot Rhythm Boys and there will be an informal chat with Concorde pilot Capt Harry Linfield.
Capturing the spirit of Brooklands and the style of Concorde, this magical black-tie evening is limited to an exclusive party of just 40 guests.
- The night costs 295 per person. For more on the New Years Eve 2012 Concorde gala dinner at Brooklands, Weybridge, visit brooklands.com
