Freeman of Elmbridge, Michael Aspel, was a special guest reader as the beautiful setting of Holy Trinity Church, Claygate played host to hundreds of guests for Princess Alice Hospice's annual Candlelight Christmas concert.

Frank Renton of BBC 2s Listen to the Band returned as event host and guests, including Mayor of Elmbridge Cllr Janet Turner, Nicholas Woolf chair of Trustees and Fiona Woolf, High Sheriff of London, were led in song by the Pegasus Choir and harpist Margaret Watson.


The event raised over 4,000, which will help to ensure all patients and their loved ones receive vital care and support through the Christmas period and on into 2013.
