MasterChefs Greg Wallace hosted a charity ball at the Lythe Hill Hotel in aid of Shooting Star CHASE and the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
The appearance from the culinary expert at the Halloween event was the perfect excuse for the Haslemere hotel to try out its new 200-guest marquee, which will be used to host weddings in the spring and summer.
The ball, which was totally sold-out, saw guests treated to a sumptuous three-course meal, before a raffle and auction helped to raise over 14,000 for the two local charities.
After the live auction, there was a fabulous firework display and then live music and dancing until midnight.
General manager Simon Drake, who joined the hotel in May of this year, is keen to hold more events to support local charities next year.
