Im delighted that Guildford will play host to the Olympic flame next year and this hotel forms a key part of the towns London 2012 legacy. The Olympics will be a crucial springboard for UK tourism from which the Radisson Edwardian Guildford, and many other hotels, will benefit.
Hunt was joined by over 500 guests, including Cllr Terence Patrick, Mayor of Guildford and representatives from University of Surrey, Guildford Cathedral and G Live.
Guildfords first four-star hotel is a joint venture between Marcol and the Nicholas James Group along with operator, Radisson Edwardian, and forms a major part of the regeneration of the towns upper high street.
