The exclusive The Wisley in Ripley hosted a glamorous benefit evening for the charity Hope & Homes for Children.
The inaugural event, organised by the Surrey Support Group, saw guests enjoy a cocktail reception before moving on to a blind wine tasting, organised by James Handford, master of wines.
Dinner was followed by an address from both Surrey chairperson, Mary George, and the area patron, Dr Ed Coats, before guests were entertained by an extremely lively auction, expertly handled by Hywel George.
The evening raised 40,000 towards the work of the charity, which gives homes, love and support to orphaned and abandoned children who have nothing.
