In excess of 25,000 people have enjoyed the Guildburys' outdoor performances at Farnham Castle, and this summer they are set to bring The Marriage of Figaro to life.

In excess of 25,000 people have enjoyed the Guildburys' outdoor performances at Farnham Castle, and this summer they are set to bring The Marriage of Figaro to life.


From Wednesday July 11 to Saturday July 14, the notorious comedy on which Mozart based one of his most popular operas will provide the perfect backing for an evening of picnicking in a spectacular setting.


Guildburys were founded in 1963 by an energetic group of 20 somethings who were searching for theatrical fun and have been performing open airatFarnham Castle for over 20 years.


Over the years they have performed predominantly in Surrey, but have been seen as far north as the Edinburgh fringe, and as far west as the very tip of the UK at the Minack Theatre in West Cornwall.
