To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Croydon's Fairfield Halls, a special photo exhibition is showcasing the venue's impressive showbiz history, alongside a new online picture archive. Here, we pick out just a few of our favourites

- There will be two exhibitions of Frazer Ashfords work at the Fairfield Halls this year starting with the rock and pop focussed Faces at Fairfield, which continues until the end of June. The second, later in the year, will concentrate on the theatrical subjects in Frazers archive. Entry is free to both and they will be open Monday to Saturday, 11am to 5pm.
