Chelsea and England footballer, John Terry and actress and presenter, Lizzie Cundy were among the guests at a glittering event to raise money for disadvantaged children in Elmbridge.

All the money raised during the evening, and from the subsequent designer jumble sale the following day, will go to the Fashion for Good fund managed by the Community Foundation for Surrey.

Celebrities flocked to support the event with many, including Amanda Holden, Louise Redknapp, Rachel Flintoff and Tamara Ecclestone, giving personal items to be auctioned on the night.

Their gifts and those of generous local residents who went through their wardrobes to donate something special, were styled on the night by celebrity personal stylist, Georgie Pincus of StyleU.

Her creations were shown on the catwalk by models from London Fashion Week, including international model, Katia E.

The evening was compered by GMTVs fashion guru and Project Catwalk judge, Nick Ede, who also presented the Money Cant Buy... auction, which included a weekend driving experience in an iconic DB9 Aston Martin and a box for 10 to see Cirque du Soleil at the Royal Albert Hall.

Fashion for Good was created by Kat Vitou and a group of Cobham mums who wanted to do something to help the local disadvantaged children highlighted in the Community Foundation for Surreys influential Hidden Surrey report.
