With Surrey County Agricultural Society celebrating its 180th birthday, this year's Surrey County Show promises to be bigger and better than ever. We pick out the highlights from this year's agricultural calender in Surrey


With Surrey County Agricultural Society celebrating its 180th birthday, this year's Surrey County Show promises to be bigger and better than ever and it is joined as always by a number of top agricultural shows in Surrey. For a taste of country life in Surrey, the below are definitely worth a visit...


Surrey County Show: Need to know...



  • What: Surrey County Show is said to be the largest one-day agricultural show in the UK (when the sun shines at least), bringing all the best parts of rural life to the heart of Surrey's county town.
  • When: Monday May 25, 9am to 6pm
  • Where: Stoke Park, Guildford
  • How: Parking at the showground is free and there are two park-and-ride car parks available: at the Guildford Business Park and the University of Surrey.
  • Cost: Save up to 30 per cent by buying tickets in advance. Tickets on the gate cost: Adults £13; concessions £9; children (aged five to 16) £6; family ticket (two adults and two children) £35. Call 01483 890810 to book your tickets.
  • Special offer: The first 100 cyclists arriving at the Nightingale Road entrance on a bicycle will get in at half price!
