Bonfire events and firework displays in Surrey this year

Wrap up in your favourite coat and scarf, grab your sparklers and a warming drink, and enjoy one of these fantastic firework displays taking place in Surrey for bonfire night
Tadworth Court - Friday 26 October
The historical Tadworth Court mansion will be the backdrop for a spectacular firework display as The Children’s Trust’s Fireworks Night returns. Tickets priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children.
Chobham Fireworks Extravaganza - Saturday 27 October
Chobham Rugby Club plays host to this event celebrating its 26th year. Gates open at 6pm with the bonfire being lit at 7pm, followed by fireworks at 8pm. There will also a barbecue and fancy dress competition
Godstone Farm - Saturday 27 October
This ‘Low Bangs Fireworks’ event is perfect if you have little ones who aren’t big fans of the big bangs. All the bright colours without the noise. There will also be plenty of Halloween themed activities on offer.
Ripley - Saturday 27 October
Attracting up to 15,000 people, Ripley’s ever-popular village celebrations include a funfair, food stalls and a torch lit procession through the streets led by the Ripley Bonfire Queen.
Hascombe - Friday 2 November
Kicking off at 7pm at the Village Hall, enjoy a barbecue, homemade crepes, the torch procession, bonfire, all followed by a spectacular firework display.
West Byfleet Junior School - Friday 2 November
On the Friday before Guy Fawkes night, celebrations start at West Byfleet Junior School, which this year has a circus theme. The display begins at 7pm and stalls from Distillers of Surrey, No 57 Boutique and more will be present.
Godalming - Friday 2 November
The usual torch lit procession will marches through the town, starting from Church Street at 7.15pm with the fireworks beginning at 8pm. Family tickets are priced at £13.50.
Guildford - Saturday 3 November
Pulling out all the stops again this year Guildford Lions will host its spectacular procession and fireworks display. The procession leaves Guildford High Street at 7pm with the display starting at 8pm at Stoke Park.
Woking - Saturday 3 November
Woking’s town celebrations take over Woking Park, with views of the spectacular fireworks display on and around the cricket pitch. Gates and funfair open at 6pm.
Brockham - Saturday 3 November
The torch lit procession starts at 6.15pm leaving the Village Green. The bonfire will be lit at 7.45pm with fireworks starting at 8.15pm. Cash only for donations, parking, food and drink.
Cranleigh - Saturday 3 November
This all-day event starts at 1pm with Benson’s Fun Fair followed by a Make-A-Guy competition at 3pm. The torch lit procession is at 5.45pm on Park Drive. The bonfire is lit at 6.50pm and the fireworks take place at 7.30pm
