We have launched our annual photography competition. The best images will feature in our 2020 Surrey Life calendar and a special exhibition at Denbies Wine Estate next year. The overall winner will also receive a workshop with our photographer Andy Newbold and the chance for one of their photos to appear on a front cover of Surrey Life

Our 2019 competition is split into two categories: adults and children aged seven to 16. Here is everything you need to know:

How to enter

Enter as many photos as you like via surreylife.co.uk/photos. Ensure to include your name and contact details with each entry.

The rules

Images must be landscape, in a jpg format, at least 300 dpi and more than 2MB in size. The deadline for entries is Friday 27 September 2019.

The prizes

- The winner of the adult competition will see their photo on the cover of the 2020 Surrey Life calendar. They will also get the chance to take part in a photography session with Andy Newbold to create an image that will appear on the front of a 2020 edition of Surrey Life magazine.

- The winner of the kids' competition, which is held in partnership with Sharp Shots Photo Club, will receive a Nikon Coolpix P900 and see their winning photo featured in the calendar. Ten runners-up will also be featured in the calendar, as well as the accompanying Beautiful Surrey photo exhibition at Denbies Wine Estate in early 2020.
