The One Shows Angellica Bell will be at All Saints Church Kingston on Wednesday November 14, 6pm, to launch the final fundraising campaign before work starts in January on refurbishing this historic church.
Taking its inspiration from the eighteen carved wooden angels in the churchs roof, the campaign will also draw on the traditional hierarchy - from archangels to cherubs to allow suitable recognition of gifts of all sizes.
The project will improve access into and around the church and give All Saints the facilities to support an ongoing programme of community, cultural and heritage work. It has already attracted grants from the Heritage Lottery Fund and Mayor of London's Outer London Fund.
The Angels campaign will invite donations, both large and small, from individuals, community groups and businesses, who will all be recognised for the contribution that they make to this Kingston landmark project. Donations have already been received from, among others, Bentalls, John Lewis and Kingston First.
