There were celebrations across Epsom and Ewell over the extended bank holiday weekend, with the Queen's first Diamond Jubilee engagement at the Epsom Derby, the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon and numerous local street parties across the borough

There were celebrations across Epsom & Ewell over the extended bank holiday weekend, with the Queen's first Diamond Jubilee engagement at the Epsom Derby, the lighting of the Jubilee Beacon and numerous street parties across the borough.


Over40 street parties took place place across Epsom & Ewell and the jubilee proved the perfect opportunity to practise for what is a truly celebratory year for the borough, with it celebrating its 75th anniversary.
