Marking its 10th anniversary with the groups biggest ever exhibition, Kaleidoscope will be bringing a whole host of mixed media to Guildford House Galleryuntil Friday December 24.

The exhibition will take over the entire gallery space, with large pieces planned for the first floor galleries, and each day a different artist from the group will be demonstrating work methods and techniques.

Kaleidoscope was formed in 2000 by textile artist Iona Mackenzie Laycock and sculptor Terri Smart soon after they jointly exhibited for the inaugural Surrey Artists Open Studios that year.
They will be joined by fellow members Doxa Sivropoulos, Tilu Shah, Barbara Andrews (all ceramics), Linda Walsh (embroidery) and Sue Roche (photography). Three guest artists will also be joining the group for this special exhibition: Caroline Jackman (paintings), Lisa Pettibone (glass) and Cathy Beckett (jewellery).

  • The 10th anniversary exhibition continues at Guildford House Gallery, 155 High Street, Guildford GU1 3AJ until Friday December 24. For more information, call 01483 444751.
