Surrey Artist's Open Studios - Until Sunday 16 June

This month sees the return of the wonderful Surrey Artist's Open Studios across the county. Running from June 1 to 16, artists will be welcoming the public into their studios to allow them get a glimpse at their creative process.

Art for All - From Friday 14 June

Watts Contemporary Gallery

The Art for All community programme continues this month at the Watts Contemporary Gallery and Old Kiln with its latest social enterprise and art education work. This exhibition celebrates the art made by members of the Art for All programme as well as the opportunity to hear stories of individuals from Surrey-based community groups and prisons involved and to purchase original art. Admission is free.

KPS Summer Family Festival - Saturday 15 June

Kingswood Primary School

Kingswood Primary School in Lower Kingswood is holding its first ever KPS Summer Family Festival this June with activities for the whole family. On from 12pm to 4pm, the fayre has the theme of The Greatest Show. There will be live music supporting local bands and activities like parkour and fair ground rides.

The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show - Saturday 15 and Sunday 16 June

Camberley Theatre

Following seasons in London and New York, one of the most iconic characters in children's literature will wiggle his way to the Camberley Theatre stage this month. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Eric Carle's book, The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show will play four performances over June 15 and 16 as part of a major UK. The show features 75 enchanting puppets sure to captivate audiences young and old. Tickets: £10-£12

The People's Pageant - Sunday 16 June

Runnymede

On 16 June, the meadows of Runnymede will set the stage for The People's Pageant, a performance created by artist Estella Castle, inspired by the 1934 Runnymede Pageant. The performance is part of Trust New Art, the National Trust's programme of contemporary arts and supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
