Hampton Court Palace Food Festvial - Until Monday 26 August

It's set to be a foodie extravaganza this summer, with the hugely popular Hampton Court Palace Food Festival opening its gates again this month, offering live cookery demonstrations from a star-studded line-up of chefs, including former Bake Off winner Nadiya Hussain and cooking legend Michel Roux Jr. Visitors will also be allowed inside the beautiful historic Hampton Court Palace.

Party For Patrick - Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August

Those looking for local family fun and live music this August Bank Holiday weekend should look no further than the 10th annual 'Party For Patrick' (P4P) - a charity music festival held at Littleton Manor Farm in Reigate. The event, taking place on the weekend of 24 and 25 August, was set up in memory of Patrick Evans, a 21-year-old from Reigate who tragically died in a skiing accident in 2009.

Summer Cinema Nights - Saturday 24 and Sunday 25 August

To celebrate its 40th anniversary this year, Phyllis Tuckwell is bringing two iconic and hugely popular films to the big outdoors! Join them at Merrist Wood College for their Summer Cinema Nights and enjoy cult classic The Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday, and the teen rebellion musical Footloose on Sunday. Fancy dress is welcome! Bring your own food and drink, or buy them at the bar on the night. Gates will open at 7pm, with films starting at 8.30pm. Please note, both films carry a BBFC rating of 15 and are therefore anyone deemed to be under this age will be refused entry. Tickets: £15.
