Surrey tipples...

Why not enjoy a local wine or beer by the fireplace on a crisp wintery evening this Christmas? The Surrey Life Food & Drink Producer of the year, the Hogs Back Brewery in Tongham, offers the aptly-named Advent Ale (£28.50 per case) and Santa’s Wobble (£25.99 per case) among their bottle range. Alternatively, you could also get a couple of vouchers for their brewery tour (£12.50 per person). For a full selection of Surrey wine and beer producers, visit

Hand-made crafts...

There, you’ll be able to pick up jewellery, paintings, prints, linocuts, books, glass and more – plus one of these great mugs from Maureen Farr, which are priced at £17.50 and based on her own artworks. The studio is open from Friday November 29 to Sunday December 1 and more information can be found at
