The Leith Hill Musical Festival is a unique community event that takes place at the Dorking Halls each Spring.

For audiences it presents the opportunity to hear music performed to the highest standards and to experience the Festival buzz. The Festival as founded in 1905 by Lady Evangeline Farrer and Margaret Vaughan Williams. Ralph Vaughan Williams, Margaret’s brother, was the Festival conductor from its founding until retiring in his eighties in 1954.
