The Chaldon care home actively encourages residents to be fully involved, wherever possible with their own care-planning using a fully holistic approach.

Their goal is to ensure that each person be afforded the very best opportunity, irrespective of their care needs to reach their maximum potential and live life to the full.

They are acutely aware of just how daunting the prospect of a move to a Care Home can be to a person who has previously led a full and independent life. With this in mind, their aim is to ensure that each person is facilitated to maintain as much independence as possible with the appropriate support measures in place.

They also maintain strong links with the local community. Visitors are always warmly welcomed and equally their residents are encouraged where possible to continue to pursue social interests outside of the Home.

Their staff turnover is very low and they consider it to be one of their strengths. As a result, they all have the benefit of getting to know their residents very well as individuals and they too get to know them. Their CQC Inspection report reflects this and our aim is to provide first-rate personalised care within a homely, warm and friendly environment.

Glebe House is comprehensively equipped with all that is needed to promote a first class quality of life including passenger lift and hoists. The in-house laundry provides a prompt, personal service for their residents.

Their beautiful secluded landscaped gardens with a paved patio area, flower beds and benches are ideal for a stroll or just sitting and relaxing in warmer weather.

They believe that individual stimulation is fundamental to providing the highest quality of person-centred care and therefore they have a dedicated programme of activities tailor made for their residents.

Their enthusiastic in-house chefs prepare dishes from a nutritious and varied menu which are very much enjoyed by the residents. All their food is home cooked and we cater for all special dietary requirements.

Meals are served in the dining room or can be taken in the privacy of the residents own room if preferred.

Glebe House offers a wide variety of healthcare packages including long-term care, respite or short stay and day care. Please contact them on 01883 344434 or feel free to visit them and discuss how Glebe House can help you.
