The London Mozart Players leads the celebration of Fairfield Halls' 50th birthday with a concert of local connections and celebrations led by the LMP's associate conductor, Hilary Davan Wetton.

The concert kicks off on Friday November 2, 7.30pm, with an energetic, brand new fanfare for the Hall, composed by the LMPs associate composer Roxanna Panufnik.
Violinist Chlo Hanslip has continued to dazzle audiences and critics alike with her technical mastery and deep musicality since signing to Warner Classics at just 13.
Lauded as one of the most outstanding players of her generation, she performs a celebrated and beautiful piece of work in the Romantic repertoire, Bruchs magnificent Violin Concerto.
2012 marks one hundred years since the tragically early death of Croydons Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, whose great success during his lifetime won him the nickname the African Mahler.
A prominent composer in his day, he greatly influenced many contemporary and later composers. His Petite Suite de Concert is best-known for its arresting charm and instant familiarity.
