The year also saw the birth of a very special partnership between a Surrey based garage and racecar builder, Hersham and Walton Motors, and Aston Martin.

On the evening of Thursday September 8, a sumptuous meal prepared by Caper & Berry was held to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of HWM Aston Martin in the very same building where it all began.

Hosted by the directors, Mike Harting, his son Andrew and Paul Spires, special guests included Aston Martin Directors Michael van der Sande and Kingsley Riding-Felce, Viscountess Downe and Richard Jackson from the Aston Martin Owners Club, and long-standing customers and friends.

The showroom also hosted a stunning 1963 Aston Martin DB4, alongside the current Virage Coupe and the ultimate Aston Martin, the 1.3 million One-77 supercar - a stunning display of past, present and future.
