What are the key trends you expect to see in Surrey in the coming months?
The Surrey market has certainly gathered speed after the summer break, with numerous valuations converting into quality instructions. There now seems to be a surge of sellers and buyers and, if viewings are a reflection of pending offers, I believe we are going to be constantly busy all the way up to the New Year. Now that prices have levelled out and buyers seem more confident with the market, there is definitely a stronger and more willing desire to purchase properties in general.

What excites you most about the area where you work?
This area has always been a desirable place to live and work, and the village of Kingswood is a great place to work as an agent dealing with the upper end of the property market. Fine and Country have numerous new homes sites coming up, which are always a pleasure to show. These are balanced with traditional 1930s properties that retain original character and features.

Are there bargains still to be found in Surrey?
The desirability of Kingswood and its surrounding areas of Chipstead and Tadworth means that a bargain is a very rare commodity indeed.

What would be your top tip for someone who is moving home?
A top tip to all sellers is to choose your agent wisely. Never go for the cheapest fee. We as agents offer so much more than say ten years ago and you really do get what you pay for. Above all, though, market your property at the right price and you will produce a successful sale. For someone looking to buy a propertyin Surrey, always buy with your head and not your heart. If a property seems cheap there is always a reason, so do your research thoroughly.
