No lions and tigers here, it has to be said, but instead 28 stunning gardens (with 10 new additions to the scheme) and cream teas raising money for the refurbishment of the Horsell Village Hall.

This years event runs over Saturday June 18 and Sunday June 19, with the previous eight years having raised over 23,500 for the upkeep of the hall.

Schedules can be obtained from Sparor Needle and Thread, in Horsell High Street, or Squires Garden Centre on Littlewick Road, Horsell. They cost 5 each, which entitles the person entry on both days.

All the gardenswill bemarked by bright coloured balloons outside the property.
