Having already left celebrity judges Nigella Lawson, Anthony Bourdain and Ludo Lefebvre salivating for more on Channel 4’s The Taste, Thames Ditton nanny Chloe Campbell now hopes to conquer the kitchens.
Priding herself on her ‘simple, clean and delicious’ cooking, 24-year-old Chloe was selected to be part of Team Ludo after presenting the judges with her taste selections, including a goat’s cheese and Stilton tart.
“I’ve really wanted to be a chef since I was little girl,” she says. “I want to be on The Taste to see if the judges see potential in me and my food and then ultimately win and be the happiest girl alive. I know my food tastes delicious and I want to show people this.”
A nanny for a family of eight, who also cooks for her granddad a few times a week, Chloe is certainly used to the pressure – and expectations – being high.
The Taste, which airs at 9pm on Channel 4 every Tuesday, sees 12 contestants battle it out over a series cookery challenges and blind-taste eliminations.
