Commuters will find something other than coffee carts in the shadow of Claygate railway station...

What? Billed as the smallest pub in Surrey (it can fit three indoors, with tables available outside), Platform 3 is the brainchild of Claygate’s Brightwater Brewery and opens at weekends.

The brewery itself started life in 2012 and they now brew five beers: Daisy Gold, Little Nipper, Top Notch, All Citra and Wild Orchid.

Where? As the name suggests, Platform 3 is found right next to Claygate Station and has proven a popular addition to the village, for commuters and visitors alike.

Why? Well, it’s a little bit different, isn’t it! You can hardly accuse this micropub of becoming a homogenised high-street pub with no character! You can also buy flagons and mini-pins to take home with you.
