Join a wild food walk near Richmond with Petersham Nurseries

Looking to cut down those food bills but still eat the freshest ingredients? Italian chef Claudio Bincoletto is hosting Petersham Nurseries first Wild Food Walk of 2014 on Sunday April 27.
“Erbette is the common Italian name for all edible greens that you can find in spring, says Claudio. “Our first Wild Food Walk of the year will be a nice edible excursion, dedicated to these unknown, and often underrated plants, which I believe are a good addition to any garden.
“When in the countryside recipes with Erbette usually call for pork pancetta to be added as seasoning, but also for added nutritional value.”
The spring plants walk leaves at 9.30am and lasts about an hour, after which guests will return to Petersham Nurseries for a light brunch with wine and a cooking demonstration by Claudio.
The cost is £45 and limited to a maximum of 18 guests per walk.
